Drilling Rigs and Equipment
A Boart Longyear Deltabase DB051 has recently been purchased by the company. This rig is a rubber tracked, low ground pressure, self propelled unit offering the latest technology from one of the worlds leading drilling rig manufacturers. The rig is transported to site using a 4x4 support vehicle with a fully equipped box van trailer. As a result all the equipment and materials that may be required on a site can be transported without exceeding weight limits.

Hydraulic power take off to operate hydraulic hammer for breaking out and coring head for coring surface pavements

Integral mast jack with 4.5 tonne pullout force, additional jack with 15 tonne pull back force

Technical Specification
The figures in these tables have been calculated, based on field experiences and may be reasonably expected. Ratings are based on a vertical, straight, clean hole using 63.5kg drop weight. Actual drilling capacity will depend on exact methodology adopted, ground conditions and equipment used.
